Administration Server description
System Administrators or Supervisors use the administration server to view
and monitor calls, and configure recorder components or the enterprise. A
single administration server can be set up to administer a local system or
multiple sites and recorders, such as in a large enterprise. Daily
administration changes are made without interrupting recording or playback
operations. Tasks such as user administration and device administration do
not affect performance.
Administration Server components
Administration Server components include: Viewer, Web Observer, and the
Web Browser. These are described in the following sections.
Viewer
The Viewer application is used for Viewing call records by communicating

typically used by System Administrators and Supervisors.
Observer
The Observer application is used for monitoring calls in real time. It is
linked to the Capture engine through Live Monitor Interface HTTP. This
application is generally used by System Administrators and Supervisors.
Web browser (Recorder Manager)

(Administration Tool) component using HTTP. Internet Explorer 5.5 or later
is recommended. This application is typically used by System
Administrators and Supervisors.
