Hot Fail Over Unify
The secondary Unify server is a hardware component and clone of the
primary Unify server that is configured to exactly match the primary Unify
server. If the primary Unify server fails, this server takes over, picking up
exactly where the primary server left off.
Hot Fail Over Unify script
This software component allows installers to implement Hot Fail Over
functionality. The script communicates with the Hot Fail Over application,
sending it heartbeat messages. If the Hot Fail Over application detects that
one of the Unify servers has failed, it directs the other Unify to take over.
