Energy recovery unit
A large part of the energy necessary for the compression process is transformed into
heat. For the oil‑injected screw pump, most of the compression heat is dissipated
through the oil system. Our energy recovery systems are designed to recover most of the
heat by transforming it into a warm or hot water without any adverse influence on the
vacuum performance. The water can be used for diverse applications.
Components
The energy recovery system is integrated and has:
▪ a stainless steel oil/water heat exchanger
▪ the thermostatic bypass valve for the energy recovery heat exchanger
▪ the necessary bolts, flexibles, etc.
▪ Pressure relieve valve with pressure setting of 10 bar
▪ Oil drain valve.

Field installation
The main components are assembled ex-factory as a compact unit which installs in the
bodywork of the pump. Contact us for installation and connection of the energy
recovery unit.
