17. Install dowel pins into oil pump mounting holes.

18. Install the three bolts that retain oil pump
crankcase. Torque mounting bolts to specification.
TORQUE
Oil Pump Mounting Bolts:
7 ft-lbs (10 N·m)
19. Reinstall oil pump pick-up
screws to specification.
TORQUE
Oil Pump Pick-Up Retaining Screws:
7 ft-lbs (10 N·m)
20. Clean the gasket sealing surfaces on oil sump cover
and crankcase to remove old gasket material and
any oil.
NOTICE
Gasket surfaces must be DRY and oil free. Use care
upon assembly to keep oil away.
