Location of components in a module

Location of the power supplies
Follow the procedure for an AC or DC power supply, as appropriate, to install
the power supply in the left and right CEPS slots.
Installing AC power supplies
See the illustration that follows this procedure.

Step Action
1 Verify that the power to the Meridian Mail module is off. Use the
circuit breakers shown in the illustration on the next page.
2 Install the power supplies.
3 Briefly turn on the power at the circuit breakers and verify that
the LED at the top of each CEPS lights up.
a. If the LED does light up, turn the power off again.
b. If the LED does not light up, follow the procedures in I&M,
Chapter 16.
