    The COMPANION 200 adds wireless capability to an existing telephone switching system, known as the host switch. The host switch may be a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) or the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The COMPANION 200 uses radio technology to transmit and receive signals between portable telephones and Base Stations connected to the COMPANION 200 Controller.
