Step Action
1 Place the administration terminal in a suitable location. If it is
not within 15.24 m (50 ft) of the Meridian Mail system, use an
asynchronous Limited Distance Modem (LDM).
2 Connect Meridian Mail, the local modem, and the
administration terminal to the A/B box as shown in the
illustration. Use an INMAC 328 adaptor and/or a 6–pin to 25–
pin adaptor as needed.
3 Configure the terminal as described in "Configuring the
administration terminal" later in this chapter.
