Add Automation to a Play List

To create macros, see
51.
1. Tap Menu > Christie IMB > Play Lists.
2. Select a play list in the Selected Play List list.
3. Tap the Automation tab.
4. Tap content in the time line. The time line appears at the bottom of the Play List window.
5. Select Macros or Input in the Show me list.
6. Tap a macro or an input in the list.
7. Tap Insert.
8. Select an event in the Automation Macro list.
9. Select one of these options in the Time Offset area:
Select Before Clip Start to pause playback. Playback does not resume until all of the
input cues or macros with a time offset value of Before Clip Start run. Playback is not
paused if Before Clip Start is not selected. This option is recommended for automation
that runs at the beginning of playback.
Select From Clip Start to run a macro at a time you define that is offset from the
beginning of the content you selected in step 4.
Select From Clip End to run a macro at a time you define that is offset from the end of
the content you selected in step 4.
10. Tap Save.
11. Tap Save Changes in the Play List Tasks list.
A black triangle appears in the time line to indicate that automation is defined for the content.
The time line appears at the bottom of the Play List window.

Create and Add a Black Delay to a Play List

This procedure adds a five second delay macro named 5 Second Black to a play list. You can create
longer or shorter delays.
1. Tap Menu > Christie IMB > System.
2. Tap Automation > Macros.
3. Tap Add.
4. Enter 5 Second Black and then tap Enter.
5. Tap the macro in the left pane.
6. Tap Add in the Macro Activities list.
