Description
Voice service node link fault
Definition
Monitors the performance of application messaging between the voice
service node (VSN) and the DMS switch. It is used in applications such as
AABS (automated alternate billing system) and ADAS (automatic directory
assistance services).
Measurement list
VSNLKFLT is calculated from the accumulation of the sum of VSNLINK
measurements VMSGFAIL, VNCALLFL, NOCIDNCM, and NOCIDCP.
Normalizer
VSNLKFLT is normalized per VSN message sent. The number of messages
sent is provided by the measurement VMSGSNT in VSNLINK.
Diagnostics
Check OM group VSNLINK registers VMSGFAIL, VNCALLFL,
NOCIDNCM, and NOCIDCP to pinpoint the failure source.
