REC Search Step 1: Selecting the Date
Essentially, the REC Search screen allows you to select a date to view the recorded video. It uses a calendar
view to enable the user to easily visualise the availability of recorded video, and also employs color coding to
provide easy identification of dates for which the recorded video has special characteristics (eg. locked video,
or alarm events).
What is locked video?
The device setup allows you to configure the recording settings such that video is always retained
for at least a minimum number of days after it is recorded. Locked video refers to recorded video
which falls within the stipulated duration, and hence is protected against being deleted or
overwritten by the device.
