Logging into the System

In order to access many of the G4-508HD4a's advanced functions, you will need to be logged in to the system.
This is a security measure to ensure that access to sensitive functions and video data is restricted to
authorised users. Also, the system keeps an operations log which tags particular actions to usernames for
accountability and audit purposes.
Access to the following functions require the user to be logged in:

How to Log In
When attempting to access any of these functions, the system will check the log-on status of the user before
granting access to the function. If the user is not already logged in, the system will automatically prompt the
user to log in.

This screen lists the storage devices which are
currently attached to the device. It also indicates
whether the device is currently recording to the
listed storage devices, their total storage capacity,
