CAUTION !
In case of malfunction of this device, contact
your qualified local Dräger Service representa-
tive.
The device must be inspected and serviced (pre-
ventive maintenance) by competent and factory
authorized technical service representatives at
regular 6 month intervals. A record must be kept
on this preventive maintenance. We recommend
obtaining a service contract through your vendor.
Maintenance or repair of the Julian Anesthesia
Workstation shall be performed only by Dräger
qualified technical service representatives.

available on request if needed for the maintenance of Julian.

To avoid any risk of infection, clean and disin-
fect ventilator and accessories before any
maintenance according to established
hospital procedures - this applies also when
returning ventilators or parts for repair.
Preventive Maintenance work on the Julian
Anesthesia Workstation shall be performed by
trained and factory authorized staff only.
Disconnect power!
Before opening the unit, always disconnect
plug at the wall outlet first.
By factory trained and authorized technical representatives every six
months
Replace when calibration is no longer possible or when the message
FIO2 INOP ! is displayed. Disposal, see page 120.
Replace when calibration is no longer possible or when the message
FLOW INOP ! is displayed. May be incinerated at temperatures of
more than 800 °C (1472 ºF).
Replace when fill level reaches the mark or when the message
CO2 LINE BLK ! is displayed (assuming the sample line was not
otherwise blocked).
Should be cleaned and thoroughly dried or replaced every month.
Must be replaced after one year at the latest.
Dispose of as domestic waste.
Must be replaced by factory trained and authorized technical
representatives after two years.
Dispose of in accordance with all applicable waste disposal regulations.
Must be replaced by factory trained and authorized technical
