on the equipment.

Preparation
Tests of Readiness for Operation
Preparing Julian for the self test
1 Close the Y-piece = plug firmly on to the cone.
2 Ensure that the sample line is connected to the
Y-piece and to the water trap on the back of the
workstation.
3 Set APL valve to MAN and adjust to 30 cmH
O.

4 Ensure that Safety O
flow control is set to »0«.

If all points on the checklist are OK:
Confirm = press dial knob.
The self test is started.
Duration: 3 to 4 minutes.
The self test is performed automatically.
The following list gives an overview about the main
steps of the self test:

(incl. Monitoring) – O2-sensor test and calibration
– PAW-sensor test and calibration

– restoring of default settings for
alarm limits, monitoring parameters,
