A PV load center enables dedicated isolation of the
Microinverter branch circuits and provides a simple
installation platform for the IQ8D Commercial Gateway.
The PV load center should be installed considering both
the cable route and distance to the Microinverters. You can
install the PV load center indoors or outdoors depending
on the electrical layout across the site.

Key Components of PV Load Center

PV load center enclosure: The PV Load Center
enclosure may be indoor or outdoor rated, depending
on the installation location of the Load center onsite.
IQ8D Commercial Gateway.
Dedicated IQ8D Commercial Gateway circuit.
Production CTs (Current Transformers).

Distance from PV arrays to location of PV load center.
Conductor sizing of the installed home run cabling
system to the PV Load center.
Route length distance on the same circuit between the
first Microinverter and the IQ8D Commercial Gateway:

farthest Microinverter on the branch circuit and the
Gateway.
