IMPORTANT: The IQ8MC, IQ8AC, and IQ8HC Microinverter listed in this manual require an IQ Cable. Ease of design PV systems using Enphase microinverters are very simple to design and install. You can install individual PV modules in any combination of PV module quantity, type, age, and orientation. Each microinverter quickly mounts on the PV racking beneath each PV module. -

Compatibility The IQ8 Series Microinverter is electrically compatible with PV modules, as listed in the following table. For specifications, see “Technical Data” in this manual. You can refer to the Enphase compatibility calculator at https:/ /enphase.com/en-au/installers/microinverters/calculator to verify PV module electrical compatibility. - Page 12 Select the correct conductor size based on the distance from the junction with the microinverter AC branch circuit to the circuit breaker in the electrical panel. WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Always de-energize the AC branch circuit before servicing. Never disconnect the DC or AC connectors under load. WARNING: The Enphase microinverters are powered by DC power from the PV modules. Make sure you disconnect the DC connections, reconnect the DC power, and then watch for the solid green for about six seconds after connection to DC power. -
