IQ8D Commercial Gateway
When designing a three-phase, commercial-scale system,
it is critical to install an IQ8D Commercial Gateway (model
ENV-IQ8D-AM3-3P). IQ8D Commercial Gateway should be
able to communicate with up to 165 IQ8D Microinverters
for monitoring and maintenance when connected in the
same Gateway communication domain.
The IQ8D Commercial Gateway should be used solely
for 208Y/120V three phase applications and provides
integrated, revenue grade PV production metering (+/-0.5%)
with included three 400A continuous rated production
CTs, and optional 600A continuous rated consumption
monitoring (+/-2.5%).

The IQ8D Commercial Gateway only supports CT-400-
SOLID for production monitoring, CT-600- SPLIT for
consumption monitoring and should not be used with any
other type of CTs. The 400A Production CTs support cables
with maximum gauge of 1000KCMIL whereas the 600A
Consumption CTs support cables with maximum gauge
of 300KCMIL. You can use up to two parallel-connected
Consumption CTs to monitor up to a maximum of two
conductors. Check that there is enough space in the load
center to install CTs. Do not install CTs where they exceed
75% of the wiring space of any cross-sectional area within
the load center.
