Condition
The shock absorber has been removed.
-
Clamp the shock absorber in the vise using soft jaws for protection.
-
Measure and note spring length in its preloaded state.
-
Loosen screw
-
Turn adjusting ring until the spring is no longer under tension.

Hook wrench (T106S)
-
Remove ring
-
Remove spring retainer @) and intermediate washer
-
Remove the spring.

Remove the spring.
Main work
-
Note down the current state of rebound damping

Completely open the adjusters of the rebound and compression damping.

Remove rubber cap @) of the reservoir.

Open screw
✓ The pressurized nitrogen escapes.
