Connecting a frequency signal via the EX1200 DMM bus requires a making connections similar
to those used for voltage measurements.

EASUREMENTS
EX1200's internal DMM can make temperature measurements by connecting sensors to its inputs.
By doing so, it can be used as a high-channel count data logger. Three categories of sensors are
supported: thermocouples, RTDs (resistance temperature devices), and thermistors. Table 4-10
indicates each category and the types of sensors supported by the EX1200 DMM.

NOTE
Temperature measurement values are returned in degrees Celsius (°C) and cannot be configured
for Fahrenheit (°F) or Kelvin (K).
Configuring Temperature Measurements
Temperature measurements require the following information to be properly configured.
Input
As with other measurement functions, the DMM's input can be routed from the external front
panel or via the internal DMM bus. If the thermocouples are being connected to switch cards with
DMM access, then internal input mode should be selected.
