Rack Ears, Dual Half Rack Width Option (P/N: 70-0373-102)
The rackmount installation option includes all the parts necessary to mount an EX1200 system to
the front of a standard test rack.

Assembly Procedure
1) Place the chassis on a protected work surface with its input connectors facing front.
2) Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, install the rack ears (P/N: 41-0482-009) on the front of the
EX1200s using five (5) 6-32 x 3/8" flat head Phillips stainless steel screws (P/N: 37-0114-
025) for each rack ear. One ear should be installed on the left side of one chassis, while the
other ear is installed on the right side of the other chassis. Note that the "Optional Mounting
Locations" in Figure 2-5 allow the EX1200 to be installed in a rack either flush or recessed.
3) Install the front mating bracket (P/N: 41-0493-006) on the right EX1200 using three (3) 6-32
x 3/8" flat head Phillips stainless steel screws (P/N: 37-0114-025).
4) Install the rear mating bracket (P/N: 41-0493-007) on the right EX1200 using two (2) 4-40 x
0.187 pan head Phillips screws (P/N: 37-0011-018).
5) Connect the two EX1200s by installing two (2) 4-40 x 3/8" flat head stainless steel Phillips
screws (P/N: 37-0100-037) through the right EX1200 capture the front mounting bracket.
Then, use two (2) 4-40 x 0.187 pan head Phillips screws (P/N: 37-0011-018) to connect the
rear mating bracket to the right EX1200.
6) Place the EX1200 in the desired rack slot and secure the front rack ears with hardware
provided with the rack.
