Maintenance and Care
Not rated procedures or agents could deteriorate the materials of the
centrifuge and lead to malfunction. Refrain from using any other cleaning
or decontamination procedure, if you are not entirely sure that the
intended procedure is safe for the equipment. Use only cleaning agents
that will not damage the equipment. In doubt contact the manufacturer
of the cleaning agent. If still in doubt, contact the Fisher Scientific
channel.
Do not run any rotor or accessories with sign of damage. Ensure that
the rotor, buckets and accessories are within their expected maximum
number of cycles. It is recommend that you have rotors and accessories
inspected yearly as part of your routine service to ensure safety.
