7.10. USER ARC

The USER ARC tab is used to create custom user defined aspect ratios. Custom user aspect ratios can
be easily defined with user-defined names for easy recall of custom aspect ratios. There is the capability
to define up to 10 user-defined aspect ratios. Figure 7-12 below shows the USER ARC tab.

7.10.1. ARC Configuration

7.10.1.1. User Control
The user control selects the slot that the custom user defined aspect ratio will be stored. There are 10
slots available for user defined custom ARC settings.
7.10.1.2. Name Control
The Name Control allows the user to apply custom names to new aspect ratios for easy recall. Simply
assign a meaningful name to the user ARC and these can be pulled up in the Scaler and AFD ARC tabs.
7.10.1.3. In Video Standard
The In Video Standard Control is used to specify what the incoming video standard is to be when the
custom ARC is to be used. This control will update the higher limit for the sliders associated to the input
ARC conversion controls.
