5.2.5 Greasing Procedure

DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operator's seat for any reason.
The greasing points are marked on the machine by decals showing a grease gun and grease interval in hours
of operation.
Use the recommended lubricants specified in this manual. Refer to inside back cover.
1. Wipe grease fitting with a clean cloth to avoid injecting
dirt and grit.
2. Inject grease through fitting with grease gun until
grease overflows fitting, except where noted.
3. Leave excess grease on fitting to keep out dirt.
4. Replace any loose or broken fittings immediately.
5. If fitting will not take grease, remove and clean
thoroughly. Also, clean lubricant passageway. Replace
fitting, if necessary.
