5.5 Hydraulics
Refer to your windrower operator's manual for hydraulic system maintenance procedures.
5.5.1 Hydraulic Motor
The hydraulic motor does not require regular maintenance
or servicing. If repairs are required, it should be serviced by
your Dealer.
Removing the Hydraulic Motor
Follow these steps to remove the hydraulic motor:
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the operator's seat for any reason.
1. If the machine is connected to a windrower, lower to ground.
2. Stop the engine, and remove the key.
3. Disconnect case drain hose (A) from motor (B).
4. Disconnect pressure and return hoses at fittings (C).
IMPORTANT:
To protect the motor from contamination and prevent
spillage of excess fluid, install caps and plugs on open
fittings and hoses.
5. Remove four bolts (D).
6. Use a sling and a lifting device to remove the motor.
