Maintenance
Service the machine regularly in order to ensure that it works properly. Maintenance includes all work
which serves to keep the vacuum packaging machine in good working order, including the following:
cleaning
checks
maintenance work
WARNING
Risk of injuries due to moving parts, or risk of fatal electric shock!
The machine MUST be switched off before installation, maintenance and repair work is carried
out on it. Before this work gets under way, switch off the main switch and put on a padlock to
prevent the machine being switched on inadvertently. Keep the key out of the reach of other
people!
CAUTION
Risk of burns! After switching off the machine, wait as long as necessary for the machine to
cool down. There is a danger that you may get burned on the vacuum pump and sealing bars!

Cleaning
NOTICE
The machine is splash-proof and can therefore be cleaned with liquid. However, it should not be
cleaned with high-pressure wet cleaning devices!

NOTICE
The pH-value of the cleaning agent should be between 6 and 8! Cleaning agents with a pH-value
below or above this range can damage the protective layer of the machine components and
cause corrosion to develop!
After cleaning, the machine must always be rinsed off with enough clear water so that all
residue of cleaning agents is completely removed.
Cleaning agent residue will also lead to corrosion!

Do not use anything that will scour or scratch!
Use a commercial, pH-neutral cleaning agent which
complies with the hygiene regulations.
