Starting the packaging cycle

NOTICE
The packaging cycle starts automatically when the lid of the vacuum chamber is closed! Select
the packaging program which you require before closing the lid!
 After inserting the vacuum bags, select a packaging program between P-01 and P-20 using the right-
hand arrow keys. The program number is displayed on the LED display 2.

Close the vacuum chamber:
VC999 K12 and VC999 K12N:

by manually swinging down the lid.
NOTICE
The packaging cycle is only started when the packaging cycle in the counter-chamber has been
completed!
VC999 K12A and VC999 K12NA:
 by actuating the key „Close vacuum chamber" (Fig. 3/1, Pos. 10, 12)
NOTICE
An electronically monitored protective strip is located on the automatically operated vacuum
chamber lid to prevent body parts or foreign matter from being trapped at the closing edge. If
the plastic profile (1) located in the closing edge is deformed, the closing procedure is
immediately terminated and the vacuum chamber lid swings upwardly. The "Close vacuum
chamber" has to be subsequently pressed to restart the packaging cycle.
Always ensure that the vacuum chamber can be closed unhindered!
NOTICE
If the closing process is terminated, the error message – HS – briefly appears on the display. If
this error message is permanently displayed, eliminate the error according to the description in
the chapter entitled "Faults".
NOTICE
Packaging is immediately started!
Display of the target and actual values
The target and actual values of the various process operations are continuously displayed on the LED 1
display.
