Double Chamber - Vacuum Packaging Machines VC999 K12/K12N/K12A/K12NA
Operation
9.5.1

Packaging programs

20 programs can be created in each controller. These programs are all identical in structure and are
shown in the basic setting with their program number in LED display 2.
We would advise you to take note of the programs on paper first of all and then to enter them. This will
enable you to have better control of everything and will ensure that programs do not go missing, even if
a fault occurs or if the controller is incorrectly operated. There is a program table for you to copy at the
end of the "Programming" section which you can use as a template.
9.5.2

Meaning of the parameters

9.5.2.1

Vacuuming to evaporation point (A)

 Suitable for moist products (most commonly used type of vacuum generation).
The vacuuming process take place until the moisture in the vacuum chamber or in the goods being
packed evaporates. The evaporation point depends on the temperature of the product. The colder the
product is, the greater the vacuum that can be achieved.
If this type of vacuuming is selected, an "A" is shown on LED display 1.
If evaporation does not take place, vacuuming continues up to the setpoint value (range of setpoint
settings: 995 ... 998)
If vacuuming continues over and beyond the evaporation point, this causes the product to become dried
out. Consequently, select evaporation sensitivity of between 0.5 and 10.0:
0.5
= highest evaporation sensitivity, vacuuming ends as soon as evaporation point is reached.
10.0
= lowest evaporation sensitivity, vacuuming is extended by up to 10 seconds when the evaporation
point is reached. This improves the vacuum, although it extends the packaging cycle.
9.5.2.2

Vacuuming to the setpoint (B)

 Suitable for dried products.
Vacuuming continues until the defined setpoint is reached. The setpoint is entered in ‰, terms; 999 ‰
is the maximum vacuum.
If this type of vacuum generation is selected, a "B" is shown on LED display 1.
