Inert gas installation

Only applies to VC999 K12N and VC999 K12NA
machines
The inert gas connection point is located in the
bottom part of the machine. It is accessed by
removing the panelling on the left-hand side of the
machine.

The inert gas valve (1) with the hose connection
nozzle is located in the top right. Insert the hose
(3) up into the machine and connect it to the
nozzle using a clip (2).
NOTICE
Comply with the regulations for the inert gas supply. Read "Inert gas connection" in the section
on "Interface definition"!

Pneumatics installation

only applies to VC999 K12A, VC999 K12NA
machines with automatic closing chambers
The Vacuum Packaging Machine requires compressed
air for the control system for closing and opening the
vacuum chamber. The pneumatic maintenance unit is
located in the left-hand part of the machine.
The pneumatic maintenance unit serves for cleaning
and conditioning the compressed air. It includes a
condensate trap and a pressure regulator.
The compressed air is supplied through an air hose.
For fixed pipe connections, remove the hose nipple. (Threaded connection R 1/4").
Connecting the hose
 Remove the rear wall on the left.
 Introduce the hose (1) from the bottom into the machine and fasten it by means of a hose clamp (2)
to the connection (3) of the air maintenance unit (4).
 Check the pressure setting at the pressure gauge. The pointer must be set to 4 bar. If necessary,
correct the setting by means of the rotating handle (5).
NOTICE
The pressure of the air supplied must be 6 bar. The complete pneumatic data is listed in the
section „Pneumatics". In addition, you will find the pneumatic diagram in the section
„Pneumatic diagrams".
