Stability must be guaranteed during the full life of the machine, in particular during transport, assembly, operation, inoperative periods, disassembly, inspections, and foreseeable faults.
Machine without an inert gas system (VC999 K12, VC999 K12A types) The VC999 K12 and VC999 K12A machines are used for the products described above. They are not suitable for products which are sensitive to pressure as they would be damaged by the vacuum and the tightly applied packaging plastic.

We recommend that the machine has a full service once a year at least. The VC999 Customer Service Department is available for all maintenance and servicing, on request. After every 4,000 or so packaging cycles Check the sealing bars and the sealing pads, replace the Teflon strips and sealing wires.

The Teflon strip has to be replaced if there are scorch marks on it. The sealing and cutting wires can also be replaced at the same time, if necessary.

Use a hexagon socket head wrench (4) to remove the threaded pin (5). Also loosen the threaded pin on the other side and insert a new wire.

The silicone is lightly glued into the groove of the sealing pad and can be easily removed. Clean the groove with acetone before inserting the new silicone profile. Also use this opportunity to clean the sealing bars according to the details in the previous chapter.
