Adapting the packaging machine to suit the product

Filling plates
The best packaging results are achieved if the top
edge of the sealing pad (1) is located at half the
height of the product.
The packaging cycle can be optimised by inserting
filling plates (2) into the vacuum chamber:
 The product can be perfectly positioned in terms
of the height of the sealing seam.
 Filling plates reduce the vacuum volume. This, in
turn, shortens the cycle time.
When you insert the filling plates, please note the
following:
 First of all, place the first filling plate (2) carefully
against the sealing pad (1) as shown with the
pegs (3) pointing upwards.
 Hold the filling plate by the two grip holes and
slide in into the vacuum chamber. You can tell
that the filling plate is in the correct position if it is
fixed in place by the screw heads (4) on the
bottom of the chamber. As you insert other filling
plates, they are held in place by the pegs (3).
NOTICE
Insert the filling plates carefully! Take particular care to ensure that you do not knock the filling
plates against the sealing pades and that the silicone insert on the sealing pad is not damaged!
 Insert as many filling plates as it takes to ensure that the middle of the product being packaged is at
the same height as the top of the sealing pad.
Angled insert
The angled insert (5) is used to position vacuum
bags which are filled with liquid.
