Use as prescribed

There are 4 versions of the machine available:
 machine without inert gas system
 machine without inert gas system, with automatic chamber closing
 machine with inert gas system
 machine with inert gas system, with automatic chamber closing
All versions of the machine are intended for vacuum packaging solid and liquid goods, mainly foodstuffs
such as meats, sausage, etc. However, they can also be used for non-food products (medical devices,
electrical and mechanical components).
The Vacuum Packaging Machine is solely intended for packaging suitable products at the workplace.
The machine is exclusively intended for use by personal aged 14 or older.
The machine is exclusively intended for use by authorised personnel.
The intended purpose of the equipment does not extend to the packaging of hazardous substances
(health-threatening substances, especially those that are poisonous, caustic, moderately or highly
inflammable and explosive substances).
The machine is not rated for use in areas classified as explosive threats.
NOTICE
All of these machines can be dangerous if they are not used properly or as directed. In order to
ensure that the machines are used as prescribed, it is also important to comply with the
installation, operation and maintenance conditions specified by the manufacturer.
2.5.1 Machine without an inert gas system (VC999 K12, VC999 K12A types)
The VC999 K12 and VC999 K12A machines are used for the products described above. They are not
suitable for products which are sensitive to pressure as they would be damaged by the vacuum and the
tightly applied packaging plastic.
2.5.2 Machine with an inert gas system (VC999 K12N, VC999 K12NA types)
The VC999 K12N and VC999 K12NA machines are used for the products described above.
Advantages of applying inert gas
 This enables products which are sensitive to pressure to be packed without any risk of damage.
 The products keep longer and maintain their natural colours.
NOTICE
In line with international regulations, high-pressure gases may only be fed via a reducer valve!
DANGER
A lack of oxygen can result in suffocation! If you used nitrogen and/or carbon dioxide, it is
imperative that the room is well ventilated!
