Fault
Program does not recognise
changes.
Faulty welded seam
The packaging cycle does not
start when the vacuum chamber
is closed.
Packages are badly vacuumed.
The machine does not seal or
cut.
The machine does not respond
when the main I/0 switch is
turned on.

Possible cause
The program is protected.
The sealing time has been
incorrectly set.
The sealing bars are not
correctly installed.
The Teflon strip on the sealing
bars in faulty.
The silicone strip on the sealing
pads is faulty.
The electronics board is faulty.
The limit switch does not work.
The vacuum setpoint or
evaporation stage are
incorrectly set.
Vacuum filter blocked
Sealing bars or pad are not
inserted.
Sealing or cutting wire is
broken.
The thermal relay in the sealing
transformer has been triggered.
General interruption in the
sealing or cutting current circuit.
The electronics board is faulty.
The main plug is not plugged in.
The mains automatic circuit
breaker in the controller has
been activated.
The fine-wire fuses have
melted.

How to rectify it
Disable the program protection.
Change the sealing time.
Remove and clean the sealing
bars and fit them correctly.
Replace the Teflon strip.
Replace the silicon strip or turn
it over.
Replace the electronics board.
Call the VC999 Customer
Service
Check the settings in the
appropriate packaging program.
Change the filter cartridge
(see chapter "Vacuum filter:
Replace filter cartridge"
Check / insert
Replace the broken wire or
send the sealing bars to the
VC999 Customer Service
Department.
Switch off the machine, the
thermostat comes back on after
it has been left to cool down for
10-20 minutes.
Call the VC999 Customer
Service Department.
Replace the electronics board.
Insert the mains plug.
Turn the mains circuit breaker
back on by flicking the lever
switch.
Replace the fine-wire fuses.
