Description of the machine
3.1

Principle of how it works

The vacuum bags are sealed in the vacuum chamber by sealing the opening of the bag under a vacuum
or (VC999 K12N, VC999 K12NA machines) in an atmosphere which is enriched with inert gas.
3.1.1

Structure of the machine

The machine can be divided into the following
modules:
Vacuum chambers
The vacuum chambers are opened and closed via one
swing-up lid each (1, 7). On the machine types VC999
K12A and VC999 K12NA, the keys for actuating the
automatic lids are located on the right-hand side of the
control panel (10, 12). The vacuum chambers
incorporate the sealing bars (6), the sealing backings
(8) and if required filling plates (2).
Bottom part
The bottom part (4) of the machine contains the vacuum pumps. There are detachable covers (3) on the
side and back of the bottom part. The machine stands on 4 castors. The front two castors (5) lock.
Control and control panels
The controls and the control panels (9,13) are integrated into the front of the machine base. The control
units are accessed by opening the cabinet doors (11, 15). The main switch (14) is located to the right
side of the LH control panel.
