6.1

Electrical connection

The electrical data for the machine is shown on the rating plate, which is located on the back of the
machine.
Also refer to the information contained under "Technical data" and the circuit diagrams in the section on
"Diagrams".
WARNING
Electrical hazard! Danger of death - electric shock! The machine may only be connected to the
mains by a qualified expert (electrician), complying with local regulations! The procedure for
electrical installation is described in the section on the "Installation of the machine".

Inert gas connection

Only in the VC999 K12N and VC999 K12NA
machines
The owner must ensure that there is an inert gas
supply available.
The inert gas is fed via a hose from the pressure
reducer unit (2) on the gas cylinder (1) to the inert
gas valve (3) in the machine.
The procedure for connecting the inert gas line on
the machine is described under "Inert gas installation"
in the section on "Installation of the machine".
NOTICE
If there is no gas cylinder connected in the VC999 K12N, VC999 K12NA machines, set the "Inert
gas" parameter in both service programs to OFF (0). Otherwise, air can leak into the packaging
bag! For more information read the sub-section on the "Service program" in the section on
"Programming".

contains information on the permissible types of inert gas.
