7 Installation of the machine
Stability
 Ensure that the machine is positioned horizontally.
 Lock the two front castors in order to maximise stability.
Rotary locks
If necessary, some of the paneling sheets must be removed for installation and maintenance work. Use
the supplied square socket key to remove the paneling sheets.
Use the supplied triangular socket key to open the electric cabinet.
All rotary locks can be unlocked with a quarter turn counter-clockwise.

Electrical installation

WARNING
Electrical hazard! Danger of death - electric shock! The machine may only be connected to the
mains by a qualified expert (electrician), complying with local regulations!
Procedure
The machine is supplied ready for service with a 4-core electrical cable (3 phases + GND), although
there is no plug fitted.
 Also comply with the details in the section on "Technical data" and the circuit diagrams in the section
on "Diagrams".
 Check that the local operating voltage, frequency and fuses comply with the data on the rating plate
and with the Technical Data in this Operating manual. The rating plate is attached to the back of the
machine.
 Wire a CEE round system plug to the electrical cable.
NOTICE
The machine must not be connected if any of the data differs!
The machine may only be switched on for the first time by VC999 Customer Service personnel!
