14. Remove the cap from the oil filler neck (fig. 28,
pos. 2).
15. With the aid of a funnel, pour approx. 7 liters of new
lubricating oil (e.g. commercially available engine oil,
such as SAE 20) into the oil filler neck as far as the
upper oil level gage (fig. 28, pos. 1).

When using a hopper, lift the hopper when filling
such that air can escape from the lubricating oil tank.

The lubricating oil in the lubricating oil tank must
always be topped up when no more oil can be seen
in the lower oil level gage.
16. Close the oil filler neck with the cap.
17. Secure the hoses (fig. 26, pos. 2).

The lubricating oil is now replaced.

After servicing of the lubricating oil supply, the
1129 Lubricating oil pressure
message "
control dev. too high
the screen during operation. Press <F12> to ignore
this message. The message is repeated until the
lubricating oil supply is completely depressurized
(duration approx. 15 minutes). If the message
persists, this may mean that there is insufficient
lubricating oil.

1 Filter holder
2 Lubricating oil filter
1. With your hand, unscrew the lubricating oil filter
(fig. 29, pos. 2) from the filter holder (fig.29, pos. 1)
(clockwise).

See sec. 7 for disposal of lubricating oil filters and
lubricating oil.
2. Pour the oil from the lubricating oil filter into
a container.
3. Screw a new lubricating oil filter into the filter
holder and tighten by hand.
4. Remove the bottom left cover from the rear of the
EPS 708.

The lubricating oil filter is now replaced.
