5. Screw a new filter element into the filter cover.
6. Screw the filter housing to the filter cover.
 The fine filter has been replaced.

Replace the intake filter (test oil filter, fig. 14, pos. 4)
in the same way as described in sec. 6.6.1.
Replacing the mounting bracket (after filter replacement)
1. Replace the mounting bracket (with the filters) on
the rear recesses.
2. Secure the mounting bracket with the Allen screw
(fig. 15, pos. 1).
3. Fasten the front right cover.

Replacing the high-pressure rail filter
(main rail)
IMPORTANT – Risk of burns from hot
surfaces!
Touching the hot surface of the high-pressure
rail can cause severe burns to the hands.
Allow the high-pressure rail to cool down.
Wear protective gloves.
1. Exit all open applications.
2. Shut down the PC via the Windows operating
system.
3. Switch off the EPS 708 via the master switch.
4. Remove the common rail pump.
