Installation Conditions

For installation of this instrument, confirm the following conditions.
1. Power Supply
Power voltage:
100 to 115/220 to 240 V AC
Fluctuation
Frequency:
50 or 60 Hz
Fluctuation
Power consumption:
450 VA or more in this instrument only
1050 VA or more in total system
In an example of a total system arrangement, an organizer, Series 200a pump, Series 200a
autosampler, Series 200a column oven and Series 200a FL detector are included.
The AC power source must be rated to supply the power requirements of the LC system and any
peripheral equipment.
Lab outlet:
The AC power source should be available near the planned location of the LC system. For more
information see Chapter 2, Installation.
To prevent an electric shock hazard, provide a proper grounding
connection.
Be sure to use the grounded three-prong power cord which is supplied
WARNING
with the instrument. The use of a different type of power cord may
result in an electric shock hazard. Connect the three-prong power cord
to a grounded three-prong power outlet.

Installation Space

For the Series 200a system installation, it is required to provide a space of 640 mm in width and 550 mm
in depth (minimum).
A space of 150 mm or more in width shall be provided on the rear side of the instrument, and a space of
100 mm or more in width shall be provided on each of the left and right sides of the instrument.
Prepare a level, sturdy installation table capable of bearing a load of at least 150 kg.
Check and prepare an installation place satisfying the space requirements for your actual LC system and
peripheral equipment to be used in combination.

Within ±0.5 Hz of the rated frequency
