6. Brake Disc

6.1.

Inspection

Visually inspect the brake disc for damage
or cracks.
Measure the brake disc thickness.
Service limits: 4 mm
Replace the brake disc if the smallest
measurement is less than the service limit.
Measure the brake disc warpage.
Service limits: 0.3 mm
6.2.

Removal

Remove the front wheel.
Remove the five brake disc mounting bolts
with an Allen wrench.
Remove the front brake disc and front wheel
speed sensor rotor.
Install in the reverse order of work.
