13. Clean all of the grease off the spring loop using a Q-tip (cotton swab) or brush.
14. Make sure that the gears and other coupled parts are in the correct position.
15. Attach the spring to the cover that you removed in Step 4.
Important:

Clean your hands before doing this step.

Make sure that the grease on the gears does not touch the spring or hook.
This can cause damage during machine operation.
16. Attach the spring to the new hook, and then reattach the cover (self tapping screws x
4).
Important: Clean your hands before doing this step.
17. Make sure that the spring is attached correctly and is not touching the white gear.
18. Take the A4 sheet off the drum and attach the drum shutter (arm and lever as
removed in step 3).
