6. Engage the paper size detection mechanism as follows.
- Set the end fence to the 14 inch position.
- Slide the end fence while pushing it downward, and set it in the proper position for the
paper size.
7. Check to see if the symptom still occurs.
If the symptom still occurs, change the position of the paper pressure lever as shown in the
photo.
IMPORTANT: If you change the lever to the Thick Paper position, and this is effective, DO
NOT return the lever to the default position (Normal Paper) after this.
