SYMPTOM
A paper feed jam or non-feed occurs when feeding paper from a mainframe paper tray.
CAUSE
The spring hook for the END FENCE:BASE (M0212565) breaks, which weakens the
locking mechanism. As a result, the paper cannot be properly secured in place.
SOLUTION
1. Hold down the Pressure:Plate:End:Fence, and while you do this, turn the Lever: End
Fence five (5) times in the direction of the arrow shown.
2. Make sure the Lever:End:Fence returns to its original position by the spring's pressure.
If it does not, install either part shown in the table below.
