on the mouse outside of the context menu, this can be re-closed without exe‐
cution of an action.
The menu bar can contain individual entries with regard to the currently focused
object type of the MTX Navigator. The entries can then be selected and acti‐
vated by means of the mouse or after pressing <F10> or <Alt>+<Letter> just
as in the case of the context menues.
The function key bar is only available in the IndraWorks Operation. It is located
at the lower margin of the user interface and consists of buttons which represent
the function keys <F2> to <F9>. These buttons can be triggered by clicking on
the left mouse button or by pressing the corresponding function key. The as‐
signment of the individual buttons in the MTX Navigator depends on the
currently focused object type.
The switching of the entry focus between tree and list is either done by pressing
the key <Tab> or by selecting the desired object with the mouse. It is important,
since keyboard entries always refer to the currently focused entry. If you want
to navigate in the list and if the focus is currently in the tree, it will be sufficient
to press the key <Tab> in order to put the focus in the list. The tree entry is then
re-focused by pressing again on the key <Tab>.
The navigation in the tree can be done via the keyboard and by means of the
mouse. Individual folders can be directly clicked with the mouse for marking. A
click on the plus or minus sign at the left side of a folder or a double-click on a
folder itself opens or closes the latter.
The cursor keys are meant for navigation with the keyboard whereas the folder
currently marked can be opened with <CursorRight> and closed with <Cursor‐
Left>.
Folders are placed one position upwards resp. downwards by means of the
cursor keys <CursorUp> and <CursorDown>.
Additionally the folders can directly be jumped to by entering the first sign of the
node name. Ambiguities result in a jump to the next appropriate folder.
With the keys <PgUp>, <PgDn>, <Pos1 >and <End> you jump one screen side
upwards or downwards resp. to the first or the last folder in the tree.
When pressing the key <Backspace> the marking switches over to the respec‐
tive superordinate folder in case the latter exists.
In the list entries (folder, files or return label) are selected via the keys <Cur‐
sorUp> and <CursorDown> or by clicking with the mouse. With the keys
<CursorLeft> and <CursorRight> the list section is shifted horizontally. Pressing
the entry key or double-clicking on the mouse will cause the predefined com‐
mand of the currently marked entry:
Entry = Return label ⇒ a change to the next higher level takes place.
Entry = Folder⇒ it is placed and shown in the respective directory.
Entry = File ⇒ the function assigned to the file type (e.g. open editor) is
carried out.
Via the key <Backspace> you can switch to the next higher level as in the tree
view.
By pressing <Ctrl>+<A> all entries of the list can be marked (multiple selection).
By means of the keys <Shift> and <Ctrl> in connection with the key <Space>
areas of entries or several individual entries can be marked / demarked.
