In the default configuration, the function can also be retrieved using menu func‐
tion Edit ▶ Import single tool.
After an XML file has been selected in the NC file system (for example, a mount
directory would be a good idea), it is read and then written to the database table.
In the following dialog box, the user can decide whether
●
all the data of the data record,
●
only tool data,
●
only location data
are to be imported.

In the default configuration, the function can also be called using menu function
Edit ▶ Import list.
When importing a tool list, ensure that the XML document file to be
read is suitable for the configuration of the database table in terms
of the number of sectors and locations and the data structure.
It is possible to follow the import of a tool list with a configurable handling routine
for all imported data sets.
