Conditional Editability
Depending on data element BQ2 - bit 0 (Tool active), the editing of selected
tool data can be prohibited.
The "Additive value entry" mode is used to enter correction values that are
added to the existing value.
"Additive value entry" can be activated/deactivated as follows:
Press F-key <F6> "Additive entry" repeatedly until the desired mode is
active
or set/reset menu function Edit ▶ Additive.
A checkmark on the F-key indicates that the "Additive value entry" mode is
active.
If input mode "Additive" is activated and if diameter input for the selected data
element in the scheme was permitted using data attribute "ETA = DI" and if the
ID for diameter entry (ToolCatalog/TlTech/TlType/CoTo/DIA) has been set in
the tool catalog for the tool to be edited, additive value entry occurs as a diam‐
eter value, i.e. half of the entry value is added.
Additive value entry is not intended to be used for every cell; it can
be specified in the scheme file. Whether additive value entry is ac‐
tive for the selected cell can be recognized by the text "ADD" in the
status line.
To subtract a value from an existing value, a value with a leading minus sign
has to be entered when "Additive value entry" is active.
Simple arithmetic operations with several levels of parentheses can also be
carried out when entering data in the "Additive value entry" mode.
When the Tools mode is entered, the 1st level of the F-key bars of the tool list
is retrieved as the uppermost F-key level (default condition). The 1st level is
defined in file "HMI.FKeys.ToolmanList3.xml", the 2nd in file "HMI.FKeys.Tool‐
manList2.xml". Both can be modified by the user in the F-Key Configurator of
IW Engineering.
