You have to be logged in as the main user or administrator in Microsoft
Windows™.
The user currently logged in to IndraWorks has to have the "I-Remote"
user authorization.
A valid license has to be purchased for I-Remote. Afterwards, the
client software has to be installed. Only then the software can be
used from the interface.
Under "OP8 maintenance", <F2 I-Remote>, a dialog box for activating and de‐
activating the function is available in the MTX user interface.
You can find more detailed information regarding I-Remote in the
documentation "Rexroth IndraWorks I-Remote remote mainte‐
nance software".

This function activates the I-Remote software, i.e. this machine tool control PC
can be accessed from a service PC with installed I-Remote control software.
This function deactivates the I-Remote software. The machine tool control PC
can not be accessed via I-Remote.
The status of I-Remote is displayed within the machine status area.
The status "I-Remote active" is displayed in the machine status area by the
symbol
.
The status "I-Remote inactive" is displayed in the machine status area by the
symbol
.
