Leased Line/Point-to-Point T1

Enabling the PRI Port

Note: Leased Line T1 and Point-to-Point T1 configurations are identical.
MI Path
Configuration -> WAN -> T1/PRI_Port (WAN3)-> T1/PRI_Port_1
Use the procedure below to set the Leased Line/Point to Point T1 parameters.
Procedure:
1. Enabled: Yes.
2. Clock Source: T1/PRI_Port 2
3. Mode: T1
4. The following parameters do not have to be defined:
• Node Type: N/A
• Switch Type: N/A
• Dialback DN
5. Line Code: Value provided by the Telco.
6. Framing: Value provided by the Telco.
7. Line Build Out: Value provided by the Telco.

Setting DSO Default Parameters

Configuration -> WAN -> T1/PRI_Port (WAN3)-> T1/PRI_Port_1->Channel Setup -
>DS0_Default
Note: These "Default" port settings will set all channels identically. The Default settings can be replaced by
accessing and configuring individual port settings.
8. Enabled: Yes
9. Direction: Both
10. Services: 1 (assigns Dedicated T1 service to all DS0 channels)
11. Connect Type: RVP_Direct1
