The following menu appears:
4. Use the arrow keys to access the Default Port menu.

5. In the IP Destination field enter the IP address of the PBXgateway II provided by the network adminis-
trator. This will be the IP Destination for all 24 phone ports.
Note:
The IP address must be assigned by the network administrator. Setting the IP Destination parameter in
the Default Port menu connects all the ports on the EXTender to the same Gateway unit. You can
assign ports to different Gateway units by accessing the specific Port menu (for example, Port_4), then
entering the IP address of the Gateway in that menu.
6. Use the arrow keys to enter the IP Destination addresses on a per port basis if required.
7. The Ext Voice Bandwidth parameter is used to specify the Bits Per Second to use for voice. It is rec-
ommended this setting be left at the default value of 10000000.
8. The Local Call Bandwidth parameter is used to configure the maximum number of users for simulta-
neous non-Hairpinned calls. The maximum setting, also the default, is 1124150 and allows for 10 non-
Hairpinned calls.
9. The Utilization parameter is used to set the percentage of the bandwidth to be used. It is recommended
