Network Termination (Dual T1/PRI Lines)

T1 Requirements
• Supports AMI encoding on Port 2 for Local Dialing.
• Supports B8ZS encoding.
• Supports D4 superframe (SF) or D4 extended super frame (ESF) framing (on Port2 for Local Dialing).
• Supports both internal and external clocking.
PRI Requirements
• Supports any one of the following protocols;
NI-1, AT&T 4ESS, AT&T 5ESS, or DMS-250

CSU/DSU Functionality

The MCK T1/PRI Card provides integrated CSU/DSU functionality. The card can terminate a T1/FT1 line
and map each DS0 channel of that line to a particular application, based on configuration information
entered by the System Administrator.
