Troubleshooting

Alarm Condition

When the infusion pump detects a problem, the following occurs:
The infusion stops
An audible/visual alarm is activated
A message appears on the display screen indicating the cause of the alarm
The LED indicator will change from green to red or yellow
NOTE: Pressing

NOTE: Alarm settings are not lost in case of power loss. When power is lost for less than or
equal to 30 seconds, the alarm settings are restored.
NOTE: At Power-On the pump performs a sequence of audible beeps informing the user the
pump is ready for use. The beep sequence confirms self tests have verified the system
integrity. Continually, through pump operation the pump will perform a sequence of continuous
tests to verify system integrity. These self-tests check the system integrity against single fault
failures that may have occurred and will produce a System Error alarm if fault is detected.
