Wireless Quick Start; Device Network Settings For Art-Net - DiGidot C4 Manual

There's no special configuration required for your mobile device, this option works straight out of the
box.

Wireless quick start

1. Connect the DiGidot C4 to a power source. Read chapter 'Connecting power' or choose one of
following options:
Option 1 Connect DC+ and DC- to a switching power supply, rated 5Vdc up to 24 Vdc, that is able to
output at least 5 Watts
Option 2 Connect the DC Socket, located next to the Ethernet ports to a 5 Vdc power source (USB
port).
2. Press and hold the on board button for 10 seconds to turn on the Wi-Fi. This will automatically
setup your DiGidot C4 as a temporary access point. The status LEDs of the DiGidot C4 will turn blue-
white when the access point is activated. The access point wil be closed again after startup/reboot,
unless you configure it permanently on the Wi-Fi settings page.
Go to: Home > Settings > Network > Wi-Fi tab.
3. Install the free DiGidot app on your mobile device (this is optional) or go to step 4.
4. Connect your mobile device or computer to the DiGidot C4 Wi-Fi Network. Available DiGidot C4
networks are listed with their MAC Addresses, as shown on the DiGidot C4 product label for easy
identification, E.G. "DiGidot C4 - 13:5C".
5. Start the DiGidot C4 app or open your internet browser and access your device(s) by browsing to
http://172.16.0.1.

Device network settings for Art-Net

The device network settings can be changed in the integrated user interface. This is required in case
you want to communicate with an Art-Net control device.
1. Log into user interface
The DiGidot C4 has a Built-in web-based user interface which you can access by using a web
browser.
Once you have configured the IP settings on your computer, you can access the DiGidot C4 interface.
Open your web browser, type http://10.254.254.254 in the address bar and press enter.
2. Configure device name and network settings
Home > Settings > Network.
You can change the IP Address and subnet mask of the DiGidot C4. The IP Address needs to be
unique in your network to avoid IP conflicts.
